We are in preparation for the recommissioning and handover of the Maryborough Mill to a new investor/operator.  

Successful applicants will be initially employed by MSF Sugar, with the plan to transfer to the new company once recommissioning has been completed, which is earmarked as early in the 2023 crushing season.

All positions currently advertised are Permanent Full-Time positions and based only at the Maryborough Mill site.

Hours of operation

Crushing operations will be 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, from June to mid-December.

Some positions are required for normal working hours e.g. Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, and some positions are required to work shift work. These hours will be discussed in detail with the interviewed applicants.


MSF Sugar would like our new employees to commence employment by late October / early November 2022 – however this is negotiable and depends upon applicant’s availability after notice periods etc.

Wage rates / Salary

MSF Sugar have a very competitive wage/salary structure as per qualification and experience, and in line with current market benchmarks.

Appointment will normally be at the minimum pay point of the relevant level. However, if you present a case demonstrating a higher level of skills, knowledge and abilities, you may be able to negotiate wage/salary within our pay structures.


Any successful applicant who is not already a permanent employee of MSF Sugar will initially be appointed to a minimum probationary period of 6 months.

Appointment expenses

If you are required to relocate your place of residence to accept an appointment you may be eligible for reimbursement for certain expenses. You should discuss appointment expenses with the selection panel if you are invited for further assessment.
